We went to see the Light Show covering the history of the region and the development of Jerusalem through the ages. Truly amazing as they use every visible stone to carry the story. Helpful brochure to help you understand the phases. Great music and all set in the open air garden of the Museum. The visit lets you appreciate the... More

If you're going to do this, it's best to join one of the museum tours to get the most out of this. We did not and settled for reading placards, which are well done, and enjoyed the ruins very much. The best part for me was the view of Jerusalem. The price is a tiny bit steep, but if you... More

We went at night to see the sound and light show. Be sure to get there early and pick up a brochure so you can read it before the show begins. If you don't, it will be a pretty show, but you will miss a lot of the meaning behind it.

You can easily spend at least 1 to 2 hours exploring this historical site. We opted for the audio tour, which was easy to use and provided detailed information. Climbing up to the higher elevations gives you a nice view of the city, as well as the interior of the complex. It is well worth the visit for any history... More

Went today with my dad for an English language tour. Joan Krauss was our tour guide. She was so incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job of communicating complicated historical information in an easy to understand manner. The view from the top of the Tower was terrific. Joan did a great job of explaining the Old City and pointing out... More
