Despite the misconception that Tel Aviv is Israel’s capital city, Jerusalem is and has always been the Israeli Capital. That’s why the Knesset (Parliament) is located in Jerusalem. Can you imagine America’s Capitol Building housing members of Congress located in Miami or New York? Know...More

The tour covers many areas of the Knesset building and includes a lesson on Israeli civics. Very informative. Two tips: arrive early and bring your passport.

Even if you can't get inside for a tour, make it a point to visit the menorah in front of the building in a little park. The branches depict various historical struggles of the Jewish people and it makes for a nice piece of artwork.
