I have been on this tour a couple of times - so much of the history in preserved underground and this tour gives a great overview of the ancient city. The travel guides I had both times were so knowledgeable.

Very interesting tour. Our expert guide, Malka, was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. What an interesting hour, cannot recommend it enough when visiting the Old City.

I highly recommend the tour. Malka was an exceptional guide and I got a better understanding of the wall and Old City. I got very warm and humid so I recommend you dress accordingly. One or two people left the group because of the tightness of the walkways.

We spent part of an amazing morning going through these tunnels with an expert guide who helped us understand what we were seeing. We knew that Israel and much of the middle east consists of cities build on top of cities, but doing this tour really helped us see this first hand and understand what it really means. The amazing history that is revealed at this site makes the visit very worthwhile.

Today we have been witness to a marvellous tour with the outstanding guide Nathan. He took us 2000 years back into the history of these amazing important tunnels beneath the Wailing Wall. The main milestones of our history where revealed tovus in the most spectacular way. Thanks to dear Nathan we made acquaintance with the history of our beloved Jerusalem!

Our guide provided a very informative tour of the tunnels which lasted about an hour. He frequently stopped to give us details of the stones, including their size and weight, and when they were out in place. Amazing history of these once lost and then rediscovered man made rock tunnels.

If you like behind-the-scenes tours, this is for you! There is a wonderful 3-D introduction to how the Second Temple was built, and how the large blocks of stone were put in place. It is a little like cave-exploring to walk single-file underground next to these ancient walls.

This was my third time taking a tunnel tour. I tried booking ahead, but every slot, for all tours, seemed to be booked. Finally I was able to book an early morning Great Bridge Tour. I had not done that tour previously. So glad I did. This tour gave a completely new and different perspective of the Wall in relationship to the ancient city of Jerusalem. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, and she answered everyone's questions. Recommend booking ahead online.

This is a very good tour undertaken with the benefit of the guide who absolutely knew her subject and had great enthusiasm (although more of that later).
Entrance is by a timed ticket so there is not much point in arriving early. The tour takes about an hour and is a perfect when couple with a visit to the Temple Mount and Wailing Wall nearby.
It provides an good insight to the history of the wall and also the construction.
The only criticism I would have is that as the tour progressed the guide had a significant religious bias which was a shame.

What is the difference between the "The Great Stone Tour (The Classic Tour)" and the "The Great Bridge Tour (NEW)" in terms of what is visited, etc? Is one recommended over the other?

Does anyone know if you can enter the Western Wall Tunnels through the Via Dolorosa exit? Do the passage the other way around and end in the actual Western Wall Plaza.

All the other responses are correct. Entry is by the Western Wall plaza. Exit is by Via Dolorosa.

Hi !
sorry the delay...
The meeting point is just at left side of "man's entrance" to the Western Wall... you can see it in big letters - it is just there, a big entrance (just like a theater).
Go 10 minutes, at least, before the appointment time you made.
It will take around 1 hour and the archeologist who made the explanation was very good. Now I understand a little better all the history behind (under) it.

Through the kotel website directly. Don’t waste your money getting it elsewhere. Sometimes it doesn’t load properly because of your server. I ended up purchasing the tickets on my phone because it wouldn’t work on my computer 🤷🏻♀️
What is the difference of 'behind of thr scene' and 'kota tunnel' when make a researvation W.Wall tunnel tour. behind~ course include kota~course?

The Kotel is the Hebrew name of the Western Wall. When you book your tour, you can ask for the Kotel tunnel tour or the Western Wall tunnel tour - they are the same thing, no difference.

If you ho to the Kotel, you go to the area just next to the entrance to the men's prayer section. They can provide times for tours which are about every hour.

15-20 mins. But it depends, if you want to stop and listen to the story or pray maybe 25-30 mins. You will exit on Via Dolorosa.
