The most panoramic view of Jerusalem, together with the Judean Desert, this is the perfect place to end the #99 bus tour, especially at the twilight hour, when the light gives real meaning to the description "Jerusalem of Gold."

Visiting the Haas Promenade to get s spectacular view of the Old City of Jerusalem is a must. There are toilets available. There is a scenic path with benches to stroll along and have a picnic.

One of the most popular views in Jerusalem. Should go with a guide who can explain all the sights and history Walk around UN building. Great spot for picnics.

Whether you go during the day or at night you can see truly stunning views of Jerusalem. It's nice because there are many locals who come and take walks as well. Plenty of parking too.

This is the site in Southern Jerusalem overlooking the entire city. Many joggers and people strolling. There is always a great view from here even when visibility is sub-optimal.

The area smells of rosemary and pine. There is usually a slight breeze even when it is warm. You can park and simply take in the view or if you have more time and energy go for a lovely walk. Peaceful. Beautiful.

I don't think there are direct buses from Jaffa gate to the promenade. Easiest way will be to take a taxi... If you are in the center of town, central bus station or the "First Station" then bus 78 goes to the prominade

Very safe- lots of tour groups go there in the summer for the spectacular view- there are very good public restrooms - plenty of lawns and spaces to hold your bar mitzvah .
