Highly recommended. There is a choice of wet or dry tunnels near the end and we chose the dry because we didnt have swim/wet wear with us. We walked back up to the entrance from the Pool thro the covered street (the Tyropean valley) which...More

My son likes rocks and tunnels and we taught that it was a good match, but to be honest it was ok, if you don't have much time just skip it, you have to pay for the movie additionally and it was necessary to have...More

Going through this tunnel is like a bit of adventure... it’s pitch black, wet, chilly and narrow plus you’re walking in cold but clean spring water that still runs thru the tunnel and reaches almost thigh-high at the beginning part but mostly at calf-level for...More

It's very unique experience, but be prepare. Have water shoes, and headlamp. Also, when done walking in the water, you have come back walking outside uphill. But it's definitely worth it.

great place especially if you are not claustrophobic and don't mind climbing up and down steps; 3D video is a good place to start to understand what you're visiting and it's history

Great experience with a group! We sang worship songs through the tunnels. It's much longer than you think. It took about 20 minutes.

Definitely worth visiting the tunnel! it's beautiful, cavernous, and well suited for touring with lighting, boardwalks and stairs.

A nice and important experience in some of the most ancient tunnels with water in the world. Build by Hezekia the King of Judea, for the purpuse of diverting the main water supply of the city to a safer place inside the city walls.

This is a must-do at least once in Israel. Incredible to walk where the ancient Israelites carved this tunnel, in desperation, to preserve their water supply during a siege by the Assyrians. You can still see the chisel marks. You will definitely get wet up...More

We took the 3 hour guided tour of the City of David which included walking through Hezekiah's Tunnel. Great fun. The water is quite cold but we got used to it quickly. It starts off about thigh high but after a short time, is only...More

I don’t know how big you are but the tunnel was really tight for me. I’m 5’10” and about 200. In my opinion it would be hard to carry someone. There are no lights other than your flashlight. The water was about mid thigh on... More

I’ve done it Dec twice, and will do again within the month. Usually we do it just around mid-dec. If it rains, and you do it first thing in the morning, yes the water will be a tad cold but only initially when you dip your... More

Hi, visited City of David during the afternoon, so it opens during the daylight. In Hebrew, words starts from right to left, if you using translation software, it may have this mistake. Hope this helps.
