During our Israeli trip we stayed in hotel which is not far away from this market. We visited it when we walked through and around old Jaffa. It is strange place with some Middle East atmosphere where people sell second hand , actually thousands hands goods. Some of them are interesting, but most are simply old goods. Today here opened... We spent a good 30 minutes walking through the flea market, admiring the local handicraft work - mostly jewelry. Very friendly shop owners, with each of them showing us their certificate proving their handicraft skills. I didn't buy anything - my friend did though, after successfully managing to negotiate the price to 60% of the original cost. Overall, good place... More

I really do love visiting and browsing through markets but found this market a bit stressful. The store keepers border on harrasing you to buy something and once inside their store they hover over you not giving you any chance to scratch around looking for anything unusual at a good price. I also found some of the store keepers were... More

this flea is perfect! it has a big territory with a lot of cute cafes in case you get tired! get your best walking shoes and stay tuned! don't miss the counters with ceramics, leather sandals, furniture and silver. Also there's a very nice vinyl store Azoulay at 29 Raziel.

We had a brief wander around here but there really isn't much to see just lots of junk shops selling a lot of the same things. Worth going for a wander but I wouldn't do a special trip.

This was my shopping highlight in Israel, finding some beautiful old and genuine Bedouin jewellery from Yemen (tribal jewellery is my thing). There were antique sugar bowls from Iran, some slightly dirty textiles from Morocco, old carpets, mixed in with new designers and a bunch of cheaper stuff thrown into the mix too, including an outdoor garage sale with clothing... If you shop here you must be prepared to bargain. I do enjoy a good bargain so for me this was fun. Do not pay the first asking price. The seller will be happy with his sale and you will leave happy thinking you have got a good deal.

It's an experience to walk around the flea market! You can find cool vintage things. We've recently bought some cool stools there! Keep an eye out for special things and just enjoy the vibes of the market!

Wow! I hadn't been in the area for years and was I surprised by the change. Absolutely fascinating. Well worth the visit. Just wander around and peruse whatever takes your fancy. From upmarket antiques to trashy household items - you can find it all.

The Jaffa flea market covers many blocks of Old Jaffa. There are many stalls, and shops selling anything that you can imagine. Some shops appear to specialize and others appear to be selling anything that comes to them. Interesting area for walking and eye shopping. Hope this helps.
