There is much to see and do on the Tayelet. Walking along the beach is peaceful and beautiful. There are many benches for sitting and watching beach volleyball and beach soccer.

We applaud this city for constructing such a beautiful walk along the Med Sea. It is a long bit beautiful walkway.

There are restaurants and shops along the way.

However, beware to stay out of the bike and scooter lane if you are walking! They are flying in that lane!

I love walking up and down the Tayelet (as it's called in Hebrew). It runs right along Tel Aviv's the Mediterranean beach, which is super popular with sunbathers, swimmers, and people just enjoying the nice weather. There are numerous restaurants lining the beach, so you can't walk far without finding another delicious-smelling eatery where you can sit at your leisure and eat while gazing over the gorgeous view. There's music playing from many businesses and personal radios, people play volleyball on one of the many courts, and people will jog or bike along the promenade. Everything is very clean and well-maintained; I think they renovated the promenade about ten years ago, and it shows.

We stayed one week in Tel Aviv and almost every day we walked on the Tayelet. There are numerous restaurants on the Tayelet, some with music, and some with lounge chairs on the beach. The city provides many beach volley ball courts as well as several exercise apparatus locations for the "body builders." At times, there were dancing instructions on the promenade. The city also provides separate bicycle lanes adjacent to the tayelet.

The promenade (in Hebrew – tayelet) has been upgraded and expanded during the last few years, and is a delightful place for a stroll. It’s full of restaurants and benches to sit or bike, or just stroll, or eat!

Beautiful scenery alongside the Mediterranean. Biking, walking or scooter riding. So much to see and do. The views are breathtaking and the music either from restaurants or street musicians is amazing. Check out the free dancing on Saturday mornings and definitely rent a bike or go for a jog. And of course bring along paddle and ball for a game of kadima.

Walk along the Tayelet and see families, and singles, and joggers, and cyclists, and the old and the young and tourists and Israelis - best people watching with views of the Sea.

This is a fantastic place for a jog or a slow stroll.
The beautiful beach, the promenade, the towering buildings and the crowds - all make this a great Tel Aviv experience.
