In a country where the sport is barely off the ground, this course and club has a rich character and local history making it a special place. The place has a real charm and is worth a visit.

Had a stopover in Amman and I heard about the Bisharat Golf Course. It's a very unique course. With mat to tee off and black/brown greens. If you stay in Amman have a stop at the course, make a game and have a chat with the owner Dennis at the 19th hole.

Yep this place is awesome. Don't expect a regular day the links, this is not your typical golf club. We pulled in and saw that the driving range was been mowed by 50+ livestock. Played in late April, spring time, the course was "green" with growth. Tee off at rubber mat into a fairway you le Cody carries with him.... More

My preferred point to escape crowded city and take a walk between hills on grass with plenty wild flowers as wild anemone ,small wild iris and many others. And on the end drink a coffee or tee in beautiful multiterraces restorant, that is center for golf players . Z only think to be improved is the availability of a small restaurant... More

We've attended a few events here at the golf club, but we didn't enjoy it as a golf club. We like greenery around a golf course, here the course was very steep and totally barren.

Enjoyed my golf experience. Was welcomed by the host Julia and her family. The caddies have an interesting job trying track balls bouncing of rocks off the fairway. Putting took a while to get use to on oiled sand called browns instead of greens.

The Bisharat Golf Course is well worth a visit. Julia who welcomes you and looks after the place is charming and accommodating. She will arrange a caddy for you - and this is essential if you want to find your way round the first time - and she makes you feel welcome. If you are used to the manicured golf... More

This is golf in name only but it's a different experience and worth playing once. I've played golf on sand scrapes a couple of times before so nothing new there, but first time I've walked around carrying the fairway with me... (you take a little circle of plastic grass with you to hit off) No indications of where to go... More

The greens are called "browns" and the fairways are so dry but playing the whole nine yards over there is a real amusement. If you dare to play hole 3 in one shot you would sometimes win a car. Julia Bisharat is a nice lady that keeps the golf course lively. A very nice terrace is located at the top... More

A 9 hole golf course, the greens are browns but challenging indeed. You go around twice and it becomes an 18 hole golf course. The only golf course in Amman, great food, breathtaking views a fun day out just for lunch even if you do not play golf!! It is family run and they are very nice indeed!!!
