this place hold historical things of iran history till Islamic era. it has many parts from perspolis and all around Iran,this museum is located at imam khomeyni(known as tupkhune sq.) and can be reached by Imam khomeini subway,

This museum has a large variety of items which belongs to more than 2500 years of Iran's history. The building of the museum is is an old one with a special architecture. You can spend half a day to visit it compeletly.

The oldest museum in Iran. The Museum is separated into two buildings; ancient Persia and Iran after Islam. You can find pieces found from about 8000 years B.C. to about 150 years ago in this museum.

This musuem includes archeological and islamic museums! The archeological Musuem is a fantastic review of ancient history of Iran and the islamic musuem is also very beautiful but most of visitors just visit the archeological! I suggest visiting the islamic one if you have time....More

this is a very old museum made in 1937 by a french architect. it is full of ancient and antique objects found inside Persia related to more than even 3000 years ago. even the building is very old and special.

The museum is huge. Unfortunately not many things are inside the museum unlike so many national museums that I have been to in a few countries. So basically you are paying to see the museum ceiling and four walls. Other than that are old coins...More

This is an educational museum in chronological order. Many exhibits would already have been seen in other museums. However the Persepolis staircase is worth seeing.
