Great runs!

It is amazing how you can ski by driving just an hour north of Tehran. The runs are good but unfortunately it lacks proper accommodation on site.

Unfortunately we arrived with a snow storm. Out of three days, skied barely one day. The opening hours are 09h00 to 15h30 i believe, as we could never had a full day due to late opening or early closing. Equipment rental (basic and dated) with day pass cost us 50 USD per day. They have limited equipment to make the... More

It is really an excitement place for sking. You have great views while standing at peak. You can see Damavand mountain from there which is the highest mountain at Iran.

A great skiing destination. Lacking in English speaking staff and instructors. Runs were suitable for more experienced skiers but had a few blue runs as well. Hotel is located on snow which is ideal. Hotel itself was very old and dated. Toilets were continuously leaking and rooms had a musty smell. Balcony doors hard to close. Breakfast was very limited... More

Iran is quite a different country in the region when it comes to the possibilities of skiing in The Middle East! There are lots of huge mountains with high peaks and appropriate slopes for different types of skiing.

Dizin is one of the largest Iranian ski resorts in the Alborz mountain range, near Tehran and also the city of Karaj. It was established in 1969.[1]. The ski season in Dizin lasts longer than in European ski resorts, from December to May, due to the resort's high altitude. The highest ski lift reaches 3,600 m (11,800 ft), making it... More

Dizin, is one of the best ski resorts in the world which is in really close distance of Tehran. Highly recommend this place for ski even thought the service might not be as great as the skiing experience but you can find things you need hear by asking one of the local people.

The huge Dizin ski resort which has been established since 1969 is located in the north of Tehran in the Alborz mountain range. The ski season in Dizin also lasts longer than European ski resorts (from Mid November to May) because of its high altitude. It is one of the 40 highest ski resorts in the world as the highest...
