I have been living in Kuwait for the past 17 years and I still enjoy visiting Souk Al-Mubarakiya from time to time ; this place has "a soul", maybe one or the few places where you can sense the Kuwait Old Heritage. There is everything to please everyone : from antics/carpets to beautiful and colorful fruits and vegetables stands, several... More

Been to a few souks, this one's definitely not on my top ten list lol... Didn't find it authentic at all, compared to markets I've been all over Asia and Middle East.... Foul smells from the sewer in some locations, needless to say the fish market is not much better... didn't find any interesting items there, few 'local' goods, perfumes,... More

When here with a group of friends. It was National Day and everything was decorated with red, white, and green. The Souk is huge with lots of open restaurants. A very local feel, which is what I wanted. Would definitely go back. And it has some very nice shops.

Nice to see a traditional souk when visiting Kuwait but we didn't really enjoyed it. Dirty. Smelly... we didn't find anything good to buy.

A souk that is 150 years old . Many cafes . Shops where you can negotiate prices . Nice walking small streets . A touristic place and a shopping destination.
