It is strange but you cannot change money in Kuwaiti banks. Souk Al-Mubarakiya is one of a few places, where you can get dinars. It is a market, where you can buy fresh fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, nuts, souvenirs and many other things.

There are many open air places serving you kababs and fish, all grilled and very tasty. The places are existing from ages, and with the time passing, the menus and spices keep changing. Look out for cats, whichever in abundance..
