Down Town of Beirut or Centre Ville is the modern and old renovated part of the lebanese capital. Solidere is the place where you can find everything you need. Very dynamic and business area of Beirut.

The place is getting deserted by the day. Shops closed and there are very few still open. The architecture is nice though. Go for a quick walk on your way to Beirut Souks or Zeitouna Bay

Trendy part of beirut with all-new most uninhabited apartments and international brand shops. Not much to see if you are not planning to buy from high end brands. However one must go to the open air mall in Solidere known as Beirut Souks.

New developments post war era, Modern highrise buildings offering modern brand name shopping. Very little evidence remaining of Old Beirut. Not sure if I was surprised or dissapointed as I feel the culture is lost,.
