Katara is well worth a visit. Its a little bit "too perfect" to be authentic but nonetheless they've done a lovely job with the place making it into a Skansen-style outdoor museum, if you get me? The birdhouses are amazing. There's a beatiful Mosque that's well worth a visit and the crowning jewel in many ways, the huge amphitheatre, is just stunning. The acoustics are incredible. It's on the metro line, well worth a visit.

We made a stop at the Katara Cultural Village during the Discover Qatar tour. It's a cultural 'city' with some shops, an amphitheater where concerts are held, and restaurants. In my opinion, it still looks too modern, lacking people and a lively atmosphere, but it has its charm. I suppose when temperatures drop, it becomes a pleasant place to stroll with some life.

There is a beach area next to the Children’s Playground. Also located here are 2 mosques that tourists can visit, restaurants, mall, etc. What attracted me here are some new buildings that seemed to look like European historical buildings. Note that there are free electric cars that one can ride to the Gree Moque.

Wow, just spent a day at Katara Cultural Village, and it's like stepping into another world! 🌍 The architecture is breathtaking, and there's this cool blend of tradition and modern vibes. Grabbed some coffee at one of the cafes - loved the chill atmosphere. The beach is right there too, a bonus!

Katara cultural village is a place where you can find many institutional entities depending on your personal interest. The center for awareness about Islam also well known and destination to many tourists looking to know more about Islam religion. Coffeeshop/Restaurants are nearby and reachable.

Had private and expensive tour organised with Discover Qatar. Would not use them again. Meeting point is not signposted and people there and taxi driver also didn’t know it. So no tour guide but I did it on my own and thoroughly enjoyed discovering it by myself. Had lovely lunch at the seafood restaurant by the sea which wasn’t in the your anyway. Lovely village to explore. I travelled to and from by taxi from Doha.

Interesting place to visit. There is a huge Galeries Lafayette store and when you go into the courtyard, you get to explore the village with different exhibitions centres, art galleries, museums e.g. Arab postal stamps and a huge impressive amphitheatre. There is a gold mosque and the beautiful Katara mosque with 2 pigeon towers next to it. There is a promenade alongside the beach where you can stroll and watch the fishing boats or watch Qataris at work - weaving baskets & rugs, making ceramic vases etc. There are places to eat if you are hungry and you can also buy souvenirs as well.

A delight to visit this place with its large outdoor amphitheatre, restaurants art galleries and expensive shops. Set over a large area with water running along the gutters giving a cooling effect, the centre is quite amazing. There is a cinema at this complex also. Visit the Mosque and Maid too.
