I have never been before in museum and more than that I have never been in Louvre in Paris. But the feeling that I derived from the visiting this museum is indescribable. The ticket to the museum I bought in the official website of museum approximately 70 dirham (20$) per person. We reached till the from the center of Abu Dhabi by Careem taxi about 20$ for one way, duration about 30-40 minutes ride. It was long ride but within you can notice that the part of city where Louvre museum is located it’s as new constructing city. After entrance to the museum you will leading to the exhibition room where located the historical objects from B.C. Basically they are stone, earthenware, miniature figures, totems and etc. After several rooms you will be face historical religious artifacts such as medieval knights shield, armor , books of various religions(including Holy Books , Bible, Quran and etc) The last part dedicated in brilliant paintings . The thing that I fond in the Louvre is that everything is here renovated , even after completing your watching museum objects you will walk out to take interesting picture for you memory in view of outdoor artificial seemed water Chanel that located outside of museum . You will silence and will get great pleasure in sitting here. Thank you Louvre museum administration for creating so much memorable place.

    Amazing experience
Absolutely loved the Louvre had an amazing time spent the whole day there. Took my cousins visiting from America and they loved it too. Great rooftop bar/restaurant with good food to watch the sunset. Enjoyed the architecture of the building and the exhibits and of course the museum shop! Would 100% recommend.

More for architecture, the place than for the art
We visited with great expectations which maybe were a bit too high. Nice place, while if you been to European museums, this one does not keep up to that level. And very little of Louvre, so you would ask yourself why this name? maybe for marketing purposes? Anyway, having a spare time, it is nice place to come.

    What a wonderful place
What a wonderful place is it. So much to learn. Make sure you have headphones, download the app and learn on your own. I absolutely loved and the main highlight is of course Leonardo da Vinci and Vermeer. I’d love to go again. The Bollywood section was very interesting

    ARTCHITECTURE IN ABU DHABI
A must in Abu Dhabi! The building is absolutely stunning, the whole exhibition is well selected, exposed and interesting. Therefore the visit is just magic. We also loved the sustainability area with turtle rehab. Art and architecture at its best!

    Fabulous! Exceptional value for money
Let’s face it, you’re not going to go to this place, unless you are probably a fan of going to a museum or seeing some famous art! It doesn’t compare to the monstrosity of its counterpart in Paris, however, this is a fabulous collection throughout the years of relics and famous artist Exhibitions Whilst I understand you can do some water activities around this place to enhance your experience, the layout, cleanliness, ambience and style are just amazing. When I return to this country, I will seriously go and visit again. Very good value for money

    Worth a visit
Wanted to visit here since it opened just to see the architecture, but as it’s a museum as well, take the time to look around. If you’re an art lover, put aside a good few hours to get round the displays - and the museum guide is on an app. Exhibits are interesting and varied, some ancient and some more modern. Architecture is fabulous. A lot of building work going on around it, but give the area a few years and it will rival many other cultural districts around the world.

The architecture is amazing - the museum exhibits are mediocre
Saadiyat island is slowly turning into a world class museum area. The first was the Abu Dhabi Louvre. We were not impressed with the exhibits but the architecture and the views as well as the public areas are simply amazing. The entrance fee is worth just for that. Do go to their coffee shop and bar - a very relaxing and amazing place.

    Phenomenal!
Not only the building is stunning (understatement of the year), and the art pieces remarkable, the way they are assembled and presented is absolutely fascinating. I could ha e done without the pieces of so called “modern art” at the end of the visit but the rest was well worth it. A must see.

    Incredible experience
Visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi was an incredible experience. From the stunning architecture to the vast collection of artworks. This museum is truly a world-class destination. I was impressed by the range of exhibits. Which included everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces. It's an unforgettable experience that's not to be missed.

A place to fall in love. Great artwork, and I also caught a special Cartier exhibition. You need at least 3 hours to walk around. If you book your ticket in advance you can save some money.

What makes this museum visit a must is not just the architecture but the curation of the exhibits. It is genius, very accessible, and not overwhelming. Whilst there might not be many “greats” it is irrelevant. You are taken through a journey of the arts - ceramics, paintings, sculptures, books, carpets and so on by period. This puts things into perspective - what was happening in China at the same time as the Pharaohs in Egypt? And so on until the 20th century. A must visit - takes at least three hours.

We visited the Lourve using the hop on hop off bus. It was worth the visit even though Art isn't really our thing we still enjoyed a walk around. There's a lovely cafe with a view out onto the river, unfortunately there is a lot of construction in the area. I'm sure it will be beautiful in the future but at the moment every direction is a building site.
There's some great photo opportunities inside the Lourve and they had some jewellery on show which was cool to look around.
Overall worth a visit for the price. If you can book tickets in advance otherwise you will queue twice.

I really enjoyed my visit to the museum. It wasn't too busy on a Friday afternoon in January. The exhibits are great and we were lucky to visit during the Cartier temporary exhibition which was outstanding. The architecture of the building is fabulous and we had a tea break in the lovely cafe which great views. The whole place has a really nice vibe.

We toured the Abu Dhabi Louvre out last day of touring with our NYU Graduate class and got a personal 'highlights' tour which I highly recommend when you do not have a lot of time to see the museum. Our tour guide was excellent and gave our group a wonderful tour of some of the best pieces in the collection. I really loved the Pre-Columbian pieces and the collections from Egypt.

The building is so beautiful and is artwork in itself. The entrance is a lattice of steel and stone that is impressive. This will be perfect for the Louvre to showcase their collections that have been in storage for years and display them finally to the world. It is a great stop when touring the city.

The museum building itself is the main attraction. The exhibits are well organized though the collections are not of large quantities. The location of the museum allows a good view of the harbour.
