As a Muslim it was only right that we visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for Friday prayers. I myself have been many times before, but this time I was accompanied by my young family. No problems getting through security, plenty of parking. The mosque itself is stunning, only seeing the place in person will you appreciate it fully ....

I've passed by this building so many times over the past few years and have promised myself to make a visit. Finally the time was right make sure you arrive in daylight and then watch as the daylight changes to nighttime. Don't forget your camera. Respect the areas of worship, be prepared to remove your shoes when you want to... More

A beautiful place but the organisation and queues to get into the bus park made it an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons! Don't go on the eve of Ramadan as it was too packed to be pleasant and they didn't cope well with crowds!

Women will get to wear their clothes by the screening entrance and there was a young woman with Asian features (Afghani) - she was so rude. I was wearing pants and had a scarf but this woman shouts and forces you to wear their... More

An exquisite piece of architecture. Worth planning your trip around the tour times, as the guides give you so much incredible information about the history and building of the mosque.

Absolutely stunning and a must for any visitor to Abu Dhabi! If you're staying in the Corniche area as we were then worth trying to fit in with a visit to Yas island on the same day as they're not too far from each other.
