Visiting this place was one of my motives for staying in the city and I am so glad we did. It is special to be allowed an insight into as different culture and we really appreciated it. I would just say that they are quite...More
This really is a must do in Abu Dhabi. It's free but you have to register.
We got there just after 9:30am and there were no queues but it was clear from the large queuing systems install the lines can be long. I recommend that...More
We visited this beautiful mosque in 2018. Beautiful outside and inside. Either the toilet. The Muslim women black dress is much cooler when wearing it than how it looks. Wish the guide gave us more time to walk around.
This is a fantastic building and the tour is a fantastic experience. The workmanship and decoration is second to non and the atmosphere is truly middle eastern. Do go for the free guided tour as you will miss a lot without it.

I would keep checking the Mosque website as they do close for holy events that are not common to others. They have free tours and if it is open you will be able to visit. using the tour or not. Also, be sure and read about allowable clothing. Women must have their whole head covered including their hair. My daughter's hair was peeking out and she was asked to cover it.
Otherwise Abu Dhabi should be easy to visit things, unless a race or something in town.
