We visited this beautiful mosque in 2018. Beautiful outside and inside. Either the toilet. The Muslim women black dress is much cooler when wearing it than how it looks. Wish the guide gave us more time to walk around.

This is a fantastic building and the tour is a fantastic experience. The workmanship and decoration is second to non and the atmosphere is truly middle eastern. Do go for the free guided tour as you will miss a lot without it.

Make sure to procure VIP access. Sure worth the money, time and hassle to dress appropriately. A definite cultural and architectural experience.

The Mosque art and ambience is out of the world it shows how much efforts they have put to build this. Every part of piece shows the importance for detailing the builder has put in.

An absolutely great visit. It is FREE and the place is breathtaking. There are also free tours inside. Building completed in 2006 after 10 years planning and 11 year construction. Great picture opportunities. I recommend at least 2-3 hours for the visit. Bus 094 drops...More

Taxi is the easiest way to travel within the city. The fare starts from AED10. And there's GPS on each taxi. I don't try other ways to travel in Abu Dhabi.

You can book in advance, but we just took the RTA Bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi (which I think runs every hour) and then used taxi for local travel.
