This is a wonder of the world. Regardless of your religion, if you get the chance to visit, please do not miss it. I felt spiritually elevated from just a few pleasant hours walking around and pondering this great wonder.

We visited this beautiful Mosque which is huge ! Some 40,000 people can pray at once. No admission charge and of course women must be suitably dressed , there is a room where you can borrow appropriate attire. Photography is allowed and parking also free.

Tips -Wear very conservative clothing and bring a scarf to avoid renting an abaya A well kept and enormous mosque. Our favorite tourist attraction in Abu Dhabi. Keep in mind that women will have to cover their legs, shoulders, neck, and even hair. To avoid renting an abaya, wear pants and bring a scarf large enough to cover your head... More

The mosque is so beautiful, outside and inside, and it's free to visit. Abu Dhabi is a fantastic place to visit, The Emirati people are so friendly and tolerant to westerners. Good food, good weather, lots to see. Great shopping malls, and so much choice in food! As a single female traveller I felt so safe.

Visited this Iconic building while in Abu Dhabi for F1 2016. Beautiful Chandeliers and Architecture. The white Domes and pristine Minarets' glisten in the sunlight, a must visit if in Abu Dhabi. Ladies visiting need to be covered. The Grand Mosque offer Abaya on free hire provided a Photo ID document is left as a deposit.

Many security checks to get in --a necessary bore. Ladies have to be covered up including scarves. Men long trousers. Worth any sort of hassle-- this truly is one of the experiences of the Modern World. Magical-difficult to describe the sheer beauty of this magnificent building.

On my previous visit in Abu Dhabi I have seen the Grand Mosque from outside only. I could forget that beauty and when I get a chance to spend a day in Abu Dhabi, - I knew what I want to see first! We were advised to take a free tour for the tourist and 5 pm and really enjoy... More

Abu Dhabi’s most iconic landmark is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which features eighty-two white domes. Built between 1996 and 2007, it was designed to be an architectural wonder that incorporated both modern and classic Islamic artistic styles. Greek and Italian white marble covers the exterior, while Islamic calligraphy decorates the inside.

The mosque is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen. Perfect in each detail. No enter fees.
