Just completed this trip last week, which included the 10-minute slot in a formula 3000 race car. This was a trip we booked months in advance, and was highly anticipated.
Cons: when I went to book, the website was showing no availability for any date. I ended up having to call them to book. All good.
Fast forward to 5 days before our adventure and I get an email saying their schedules changed and I could not longer drive that day. After some back and forth via email, we changed to a later day in our trip which meant I would be in Dubai and need to drive back down to Abu Dhabi, which was a hassle.
Pro: the experience itself was tremendous. The staff did a fantastic job and everything was organized. There were 3 drivers in my group however they paired each driver up individually with an instructor. My instructor let me send it, and we reached nearly 200km/hr on the straightaways.
While the logistics beforehand were a pain, the overall experience was a lifelong memory that will be remembered. Would highly recommend!
