a quick trip to the Heritage Village

A place worth visiting for first timers in the uae. A little village that carries the history of the country and artisanal work shops. The sea view is fabulous and not to be missed, with the city's skyscrapers in the background. The visit may take 30 to 45 min. Very touristic location I would recommend an early morning visit. Village... More

Visited while transiting in Abu Dhabi. Seriously, if this place requires an entrance fee, I am sure most of the ratings here would be Terrible. There is honestly nothing much to see here. Just some rundown huts built for tourists to see in addition to 3 poor animals on display. My whole family spent a total of 15mins inside and... More

This was the last stop on our city and mosque tour of Abu Dhabi. It was extremely busy - most coaches must have been working on the same timetable. We were only given half and hour because our trip to the Mosque had overrun so we didn't see a lot but it was quite interesting. Not a must see. Most... More

It is pretty obvious that there is not too much heritage to shout about in Abu Dhabi if this area is anything to go by. It is a small row of tatty tents selling all the usual stuffed camels, trinkets, scarfs and hats. This leads to another small area with a couple of tents with pretty much nothing in them.... More

Drop in if at a loose end but really ordinary and run down. Shops are tourist traps and poor animals need saving!!! Felt really sorry for neglected camels. Needs refurbishment!!! Disappointing although fab spot on bay.

Nice insight into Abu Dhabi's past with "authentic" buildings and stalls selling local handicrafts at reasonable prices

A lovely place to stop and visit and see a little bit of culture and history of the area. Good to get away from all the shops and malls and beaches.

This is a stop on the Big Bus tour and reflects the fact that they are short of attractions. Worth ten minutes as you are parked outside, and the local craftsmen are good to see but this was a disappointment generally.
