The highlight of this museum is the 3000 Years of Textiles exhibit, a display of brilliantly colored skirts, blankets and ponchos used by women to carry their children – each one a piece of artwork in itself.

I had to wait around for the museum to reopen at 1600, though I am glad that I did - the displays and exhibits within are captivating examples of Bolivia's ethnic diversity. First off is the display of B&W photographs taken exclusively by Damian Zepita...More

This is a small yet very interesting collection of traditional crafts. Highly recommend a visit. It's conveniently open until 7pm.

The best curated and most modern museum we have been to in South America. It would be great to have even a brochure in English but it doesn't really matter, we still enjoyed the videos and displays. 20Bs for foreigners to enter. Recommended!

The museum has an excellent collection of textiles, masks, metal and earthenware used by the indigenous groups in South America from the Inca period till now. We were also given a guided tour (in Spanish) in the afternoon by one of the curators.
