Located in Bolivar Square, this is the largest cathedral in Colombia and one of the largest in South America. It's a magnificent example of neoclassical architecture and is filled with colonial paintings and ornate decorations.

A must see when visiting the heart of Bogotá the cathedral is as calm and enjoyable as it is impressive. Though not alot of information is readily available about the different aspects, it is well worth the visit. A unique piece that we noticed was...More

The Roman Catholic cathedral is located at the Bolívar Square, next to Sacred Chapel and Archiepiscopal Palace . It is seat of the Archbishop of Bogotá and is the biggest in Colombia. You can't miss a visit to it.

This is a beautiful Cathedral to the likes of St Patricks in New York or Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. This cathedral is filled with history and a place that Pope Francis visited in 2017. A place of reverence and worship.

This is a big cathedral right in the centre of Bogota. It is rather big and has some interesting details inside woth looking at. It is also nice to sit just outside and watch people.

The Cathedral in Plaza Bolivar is Ok, nothing too exciting. Check out St. Claro Museum at the opposite end of the plaza, maybe 150m down a side road. Way more impressive!

Bogota's main cathedral, located on the Plaza Bolivar, is well worth a quick stop. Despite its age and constant use it is clean and well preserved, compared to say Mexico City's cathedral.

This is the biggest cathedral in Bogota and Colombia. Colonial architecture at its best, it's massive and resembles many in Central/South America. It is located at Plaza de Bolivar and one cannot but admire its beauty.
