Zoo is not to far from where I stayed so I paid it a visit, It such a nice way of spending a few hours walking through the zoo seeing the tropical animals.

You can purchase food (veges and such) to feed the donkeys and horses and they are eager to show their appreciation. The entire experience was happy and the monkeys are good entertainers too! The wild hog is quite obnoxious and aggressive but the Harpy Eagle...More

We were able to walk here from the Rainforest B&B and really enjoyed our visit. We saw Macaws, a jaguar, two cougars, monkeys, and a lake full of manatees! Inexpensive and fun!

I read all the bad reviews of the zoo but I want to judge for my self. The zoo is under renovation and with a new change of government they are trying. Go with a open mind and prepared to learn something. Small quiet lovely...More

it is very cheap....and also it depends on how much person is going for one person I believe is about 200 Guyana dollars which is equal to 1 us dollar
