The museum is tucked away in a residential area, and doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside is a fantastic array of well displayed art and historical artifacts. This is a fascinating museum with stimulating artworks and interesting insights into historical Paraguayan and...More

We came here on a Thursday and around midday. We weren't sure if they were officially open or not but we were allowed to walk around. They have some parts that are very interesting and some that are bit interesting at all. Entrance was free...More

We think this is the culture museum to visit in Paraguay and it is free! However, the explanation, of the objects on display are not sufficient to understand the history. The more you know before you go the more you will get out your visitt....More

Privately funded for the construction this is clearly the most extensive collection of art, design, and cultural artifacts in the country. We were delighted to find ceramics made by a local artist we had visited and seen her at work.

Good place to spend 1 to 2 hrs, but could be more organized, have a defined route to follow and more staff to help visitors.

Fairly new museum featuring local pottery and paintings, both collected from the indigenous tribes and modern pieces inspired by them. Not much signage, and only in Spanish. Free.

An excellent facility, free of charge, very diverse displays. Walking distance to all major hotels. Look for Canada St, and follow the paved road. Worth the walk.

Interesting but too small, Asuncion should invest more because it is a landmark. Is difficult to find waliking because it is somewhat hidden, and even if you ask people can't explain very well, so be aware. You will take less than a hour to visit...More
