Aloft is a tiny town with very little in the way of shops. There is a supermarket a couple of hundred metres north of the main centre and 2 dairy type shops, a bottle store that sells duty free, a couple of food places. Also...More

Definately worth knowing where this spot it and list most travellers it can be easy to pass by without recognising it's value and worth, particularly if it's outside trading hours. Kiwibank offers good trading hours Monday - Friday hours 8.30am to 4pm and is handy...More

The Commercial Centre is based around a quadrangle with a number of small businesses selling every thing from groceries and prepared food, to telecomms & internet services, souvenirs and haircuts! The sole bank, Kiwibank and the post office are also located there too. Best find...More

When we first drove past the commercial centre, we actually thought it was a school. Mainly because it was set around a quadrangle, and there was no major signage. The opening hours can be inconsistent, but that is the kind of lay-back way things are...More

Some little shops, cafes/restaurants, the post shop, bank and telecom. In the middle there is a nice big green with big trees and a payground for the kids.

The Commercial Centre of Alofi is very small which is understandable for such a small population. The only problem most tourists found is that not all the stores are open when they should be- Island time I guess. The stores could have been a little...More

In the middle of Alofi, this is Niue's main shopping centre. It is the closest you get to one stop shopping in Niue and contains the only bank, post office and telecoms. There are two grocery shops which include a butchery, Salas Hair Salon, Tavanas...More

We only went to the Telecom office to use wifi. There are small shops there and I think a small liquor store. I don't believe this island is known for rum. It was not highlighted in anything we saw.
