Went to Vanuatu this December 2016, and the original mele cascade waterfalls sadly has dried up. There are now the new waterfalls for tourists which are a further drive but are still beautiful

Have been here a few times with a cruise ship. Cheaper to book privately rather than booking through cruise line as a tour. Anyway, a bit of walking, some of this includes walking up gradual inclines. You might work up a bit of a sweat,...More

Quite a few steep steps but totally worth it to swim in the waterfall! Make sure you wear suitable foot wear as you could be walking through water or on slightly slippery rocks.

Visited this waterfall as a cruise tour. Spectacular and great for a swim. Definitely wear runners or reef shoes as its quite a climb and you have to negotiate slippery rocks & paddle through streams. There are ropes to help you up the steeper parts....More

Must see these waterfalls when in vanuatu! Very family friendly, safe and fun for all! Would recommend a tour, tour guides know the area very well as they are hired from the village bellow the falls.

We arrived in Vanuatu on a cruise ship but found a driver outside the port to take us to the Cascades Waterfalls rather than book the ship excursion. Thus we beat the crowds who were starting to arrive as we left. You pay AUS$25 for...More
