A short, albeit steep walk from the centre of Vila. We wandered past the Aussie High Commission - a bit cool if you're Australian. Great water views on the way. A beautiful centre. Our kids (5 and 8) also loved it. Not too big to...More

I am pretty sure that this venue was called the National Museum, but let’s go with Cultural Centre, as it is certainly both. Whilst it is not the biggest or most technologically advanced such space in the world, it is more than appropriate and in...More

Abit of a disappointment if this is the national museum because needs to move in the modern age. Some of the items are very interesting but there is no time line to when things happened.

Great improvement on little old museum in town with some really interesting exhibits for what is still a small museum but full of many things I hadn't previously seen

Whilst the museum can look a little tired, it comes alive with Edgar the guide, who transfixed us with his stories, sand drawings and flute playing. There is an amazing, rich Melanesian culture within the museum and you get a good insight with a visit....More

My review is based upon my experience at the National Museum in the cultural center. Although a bit small and fairly pricey, the small tour I was given was perhaps my best experience in Vanuatu. The guide (an exceptional living treasure of Vanuatu) showed us...More

Hey there! I'm a current volunteer at VKS. It's 1000 vatu or $10USD for general admission, 1500 if you'd like a guide (he does all of the sand drawing, flute playing, etc)....definitely worth the extra 500 vatu!
