The place is badly maintained, the security card was smoking up when I visited. You have souvenir store right beside the statue. The whole story of buddha is well painted on the walll

We got a lesson in Buddhism there. On the back wall you find the complete history of Gautama Buddha in pictures. Noteworthy are also the soles of the feet and the eyes on different colours. No entrance fee. Respectfulness necessary.

Came here with a private guide. Mostly local people there today, coming for praying. If you have a experienced guide there is a lot of information at this place. Very impressive

A huge reclining Buddha with painted nails and even eye lashes. Worth coming to see though as it really is huge

We've seen large reclining Buddhas elsewhere, but this is something special. For once, I was stuck for words.

People are proud about this statue, but it looks like statue from circus, it is gaudy, inelegant. We thought we are going to visit market - it looks like it.

Not a must-visit pagoda for me. Well, the reclining Buddha is pretty impressive and that's it. All it takes is just 15 minutes to complete the entire complex. We only visited because it is near to our guesthouse and there is no entrance fee.

This enormous statue of the reclining Buddha is worth a visit if for no other reason than to see its enormous size. But if you are a photographer, the real treat is the hallway behind the Buddha, where monks pray.
