Just regular Pagoda in the middle od the town. Not any special than the other smaller ones. Of course you have to pay a fee of 3 dollars or 3000 kyats.

At 400m it is less than half the size of the Shwedagon Pagoda its great for some quick photos. It save your time and energy for the big one

The pagoda is beautiful but around it are cheap and ugly little stores which makes it worth a 5 minute stop on your walk around city center.

Interesting pagoda located in a busy junction in the CBD. Smaller than Shwedagon but still worth a visit!

Sule pagoda is a beautiful pagoda located in Yangon. Slightly different in style but still very grand. Smiling Buddhas everywhere. Another must visit site. Xie to its location most tourist buses skip this site due to parking difficulties

Good place to visit at the heart of the city. Bring some wet wipes for your feet as you will be walking barefoot at the pagoda.

This is a beautiful place and well worth a visit. Be careful though - we were approaches by a man saying he used to be a monk, he gave us some information about worship rituals and then asked for a lot of money.

After seeing Shwedagon Pagoda most other pig adios are not that interesting but once again if you have time is worth a visit.

Right in the center of town, it's worth a visit if you don't have time to visit Shwedagon Pagoda. It's not that big but there is a cool pulley system that I believe they use for offerings.

Just take the pics outside, no need to spend the entrance fee as you won't see much from the inside.

Yes, Chinatown is west of the Sule Pagoda, Be sure to see Mahabandoola Garden with the Independence Monument right by the pagoda. Not too far a walk is the Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue and you are not too far from the Strand... More
