It is a nice park in the middle of Yangon, mostly locals here and a hot spot for local couples. The idea of the boardwalks is scenic and fantastic, but it is not well maintained. Some planks have come loose and there are holes here...More

Avoid this place, and only visit if you must. This park is rather dated, to the extent that the boardwalks in the park can prove to be treacherous terrain to navigate, with wobbly planks, holes and what not. The park is also home to a...More

We stayed in Yangon 8 days near the Kandawgyi Park and walked through it most days because it was a serene, calm, beautiful setting. Given public affection is frowned upon in Myanmar, Kandawgyi Park seemed to be a lovers haven, with young couples discreetly showing...More

Very worth to visit. They've plenty of restaurants here as well. Our Friend told us they have the most stunning view in the evening, indeed one of the best. You can see Swedagon from here as well.

Typical park. Nothing much to see here, except if you are here for the Keraweik palace. However, I did find the view of the Shwedagon from afar breathtaking. It was raining in Shwedagon direction, so the entire pagoda was covered in light rainy mist, it...More

The place is very beautiful surrounded by lush green gardens and lake-side view. Very good for one-day picnic.

So, it's a nice park for a wander and has a "interesting" walk way over the lake. The walk way is a bit old and tatty so if you are not that steady it's not recommended as the wood can ping up if you step...More

A very pretty and scenic lake, with lush greenery. The walk on the wooden bridge was interesting. Very scenic backgrounds with the dragon boat place and the pagoda. Well maintained and clean. Recommend visiting if you have some free time!

A natural lake which is good to walk around but the wooden bridge around the lake is required to rebuild and to maintain properly as a lot of wooden steps are not so safe to use.
