King Vakhtang on horseback over looks the city in Tbilisi. It is adjacent to the Mehtki Church. Not to visit by itself, but while visiting church.

This review is quite late. The Monument of Georgian King Vakhtang Gorgasali is strategically located on top of the hill which overlooks the city of Tbilisi. It is an attraction any visitor will not miss when touring around the Old City.

This monument is the symbol of city because Vakhtang Gorgasali is the king who decided to move capital of Georgia from Mtskheta to Tbilisi.

Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali is located in the yard of Metekhi church. It's a big monument and can be seen all around the square.
