    Impressive Tower attraction
If you are a committed tower visitor like me, then Namsan Tower is not to be missed. The area at the base of the tower has lots of attractions, stalls, and eateries and if you are with that special person you can add a lovelock to the heavily loaded fence. If you have no issues walking or climbing I recommend heading to the tower on foot and skipping the cable car as you climb up through the beautiful Namsan park. The entry to the observation Dec isn’t cheap (21000 won) but well worth it. A high tech lift ride (love the videos), atmospheric rooms and corridors, take you to a deck with spectacular views. I never realised how big Seoul was until I saw these views. Highly recommended.

    Amazing View
Took the cable car going up and walked down along the road until the bus stop. Better check the weather before visiting to get a better view of Seoul (We shuffled our itinerary so that we can visit the place on a better day/time). It was a great view and cool breeze as the sun sets and night falls. Love locks can be seen along the railings and there are food and souvenir shops in the observatory.

Cable Car and Tower Experience worth the Visit
Great experience taking the cable car to the tower and back. The tower offers good views of surrounding areas in Seoul. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes to enjoy the views from the base of the tower.

It is # 1 on most peoples list.
North Seoul Tower stands atop mount Namsan. You cannot miss seeing it and it is a great place to see Seoul from the top of the tower or even from the base of the tower. City buses or the Namsan Cable Car are the best ways to get there.

    A breath-taking 360 degree view of Seoul
Totally worth it to go its like 20-30 minutes by walk. (else you have bus 1) The tower offer you a 360 degree view of Seoul and the mountains which is breath taking. You can go at the top of the tower for 18k won (~13€) or just enjoy for free the view from the big park! It's a must-do to enjoy both nature and nice view. You can also go by night !!!!

Where you can see seoul city
A vision that is amazing. You need to walk not too far from the bus stop to get to the tower. It’s really nice to see the city on high, everything like a baby walks in sight. An interesting experience in Korea that I had.

    Great views of Seoul
Great views of Seoul especially from the observation deck which costs 21,000 원 per person. The admission ticket costs 14,000 원 per adult. Very scenic and plenty of places to take a selfie. Very busy even on a Thursday afternoon after lunch.

You Can Visit Without Spending Much Money
Here are my view on N. Tower: Getting there: a lot of people take the cable car. Although it is scenic, it is expensive and crowded and no way to get around lines. There is also a free shuttle bus that leaves from Myeongdong Station but I think only goes to the base of where the cable car starts and only departs every 30 minutes. You could walk up the mountain from the cable car start but that will take you 45 minutes. My preferred way to go it to take the bus from Namsan Yeyang Bus Parking Lot (very close to Myeongdong Station). The bus ride is around 30 minutes but buses come every 7-10 minutes. Cost is 1,100 won. Once you get there, there is really no need to go up to the top. Admission is 21,000 won and you get better views at the base since no window/glass to reflect your pictures. All the instagram spots are at the base: the proposal bridge, etc. There are 5 floors of shops and restaurants at the base and you visit all these and walk around for free. If you do want to go to the top, I would recommend making a reservation at either Hancook (3F) or N Grill (7F). If you make a reservation at these restaurant, you can skip the line as you get a complementary lift ticket up to the top included in your meal price. Just go to the 5th floor of the base where they sell admission tickets, show them your reservation and then they will give you a lift ticket. You don't have to wait and you can go straight through. You will get to the 5F and then you either walk up or down to the restaurant. You can return to the observatory deck after dinner. If you are going to N Tower, I would recommend going around sunset so you can get day and night view. We walked down but if you are going to walk down, follow the cable car route and walk down...don't follow the bus route if you are living in Myeongdong. The night views are spectacular and if you walk down, there are many places where they have a platform where you can take pictures/enjoy the view.

    Breath taking scenes
A nice place to see panoramic view of Seoul even if you don't actually go to the top of the tower. The hill is so high (better wear comfortable showes due to steep slope). There are many restaurants at the top and fountains of drinking water. Two buses are going up numbers 1and 8001. Enjoy the view and you can easily spend a couple of hours up there.

    Good - but very crowded.
We pushed on to N Seoul Tower, sitting on Namsan Park mountain, offering a birds-eye view of the area and surrounding mountains. Travelled up on the local bus (crowded!) and back down on Cable Car (just as crowded!). Lots of people. Even watched a sword demonstration while there.

The view from the tower is great and the tickets to go to the observation deck were reasonably priced. You would have to walk up quite a hill to get to the tower, so I HIGHLY suggest getting the gondola two-way ticket as well. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t crowded at all.

A must visit either you are living or travelling in Seoul. It gives you a glimpse of how vast Seoul actually is from the top. I would recommend avoiding busy hrs, as you may need to queue for quite long. View was beautiful at night even if there was a little bit of rain on the day we visited

It’s an amazing experience to see Seoul in a 360-degree perspective from the top of N Seoul Tower. The daytime view of the towering skyscrapers with the mountains in the background is absolutely stunning.

And why not do as many locals do - combine the trip to the tower with some good exercise?

There’s a 2.5 km walking trail from the back gate of Namsangol Hanok Village through the park, ending with a lot of stairs that go up, up, up to the base of the tower. It’s hard work, but you’ll be proud of yourself when you reach the top.

This is a great place from which to see the amazing sights of the new and old parts of bustling Seoul. Unfortunately for us, it was a rainy day when we visited.

The visit is good, view is amazing. The line can be very long so I suggest to go early. The cable car is good but really unnecessary if your a person who doesn't have any problem walking

The views were great. We lucked in and got there at sunset. It was our first day in Seoul and gave us an idea of how big the city is. The cable car was worth it. There are still a lot of stairs and a lot more climbing to get to the tower. It is very touristy up there, but there still seem to be a lot of locals (mostly young people) going up for something to do in the evening.

Amazing experience! A loo with a view for sure as well. Scarier than the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. But no attractions at the top

It features in most kdramas I've watched and felt it was a must see on our trip to Seoul.
I recommend you get the busbup to the base of the tower.

We waited for the free lift up to the ticket office, saving us walking up the steep stairs. We waited nearly an hour in the sun to get the lift.

We bought tickets for the cable car yp to the tower within a few mins. Then proceeded to wait in the huge queue for over an hour.
It's deceptive, we went in no problem on the ground floor thinking it was quick but the queue started on the stairwell, up the stairs, in and around waiting rooms.

The cable car - we were wedged in.
For 1.5- 2mins or so.
It was not really worth the wait.

We had bought a return cable car ticket, but rather than wait to get the cable car back down - We got the bus down. Much quicker.

The views from outside the tower are great. Lovely cityscapes. Nice photo opportunities of the tower and also the numerous padlocks.

There are gift shops. So you can buy a padlock, write a message and attach it!

There are ticket offices at the top of namsan outside the base of tower to buy tickets up to the observeratory.
However there was an employee showing us how to scan a qr code next to the office to buy tickets online to get a discount which was helpful.

Personally I thought the views were better outside and that we didn't need to have gone up to the observeratory.

It was s a great afternoon out.

The views were good but the cable car was an absolute rip off. It was over an hour wait, in line , to be packed into the cable car like sardines, for a 3 minute trip. It really was not worth thd effort.

N Seoul Tower is situated on a hill, thus some walking is necessary. However, there are alternative methods to get there if walking isn't your thing. However, the walk is worthwhile since it allows you to take in the landscape while you work toward your objective. Compared to the other buildings I visited, the N Tower gives an incredible outlook. Above all, it's affordable.
