This was my first visit to the Coptic Museum that has a rate collection of artifacts dating back to the Greek, Roman and Arabic eras in Egypt and how converting to Christianity influenced the art of Egyptians and it's mix with other styles of art.

I didn't know Egypt has a coptic museum, I kinda stumbled upon it on my way out of visiting the 7 historic churches. Made me appreciate the Coptic History. I do wish however that we had a tour guide with us for this!

When visiting Coptic Cairo, it's a great place to understand its history and art. The museum is not so big, and it's quite fast to visit.

This museum was very well done, containing interesting and significant items within a beautiful structure. If possible, I would recommend brining along a guide to explain the significance of the various items.
