While my friends were taking me to their home for Dinner. We drove by it and I was very moved and impressed by it simple elegance. Who ever thought of it and designed it obviously has a very large ration of Grey Cells.

This is a rare open space with significance. At night it has a very different look to the daytime and appears more like a pyramid. Worth a stop on your way past if you are visiting Nasr City.

Visiting the place is totally free and one of the big incidents happened in it (assassination of president El Sadat) It was built during El Sadat period (70th) as a memorial place for the unknown soldiers died in October war.

Nothing there but this memorial. it has nice design & it is free. If you are going to Nasr City you can pass by for 5 minutes.
