This museum is in recognition of the great Poet-Laureate Ahmed Shawki, which houses a wide collection of more than 713 manuscripts and drafts, a collection of oil paintings, antique objects and photographs of the poet and his family.

WE toured the Eygptian Museum in Cairo with Sherif at If You Love Egypt travel, Outstanding, knowledgable, when I went to buy cartoosh in Giza he double checked everything to make sure the characters are right, meaning, he can read Hierogliphics.... and was also wonderful...More
