We loved seeing this pyramid. Took lots of pictures.only need about an hour to spend here. Good to combine this with Memphis and Dashur visit

Our guided tour took us here first thing in the morning and we virtually had the place to ourselves. Great place to begin a tour of the pyramids.

A 45 -60 drive from Giza hotel area. There is ongoing restoration work. There are carpet factories nearby.

Egypt is not great for mobility, but it varies from place to place. It is worth checking with your tour operator before you go.

They are close enough so that you can do both on the same day, but the street market and museum would be more interesting than Sakkara. Sakkara has the oldest pyramid but currently it is being repaired. You could... More
