    Feels like an obstacle course!
Just an amazing experience to see something like this in person. Highly recommend going inside just for the experience and ability to say you've been inside the structure. As others noted, it's a steep climb into the chamber, with many steps, narrow passages, and it's cramped so it gets VERY hot. Take care with your footing.

Amazing time with Hamdy and Karem!
Hamdy was amazing! He really knew his stuff and his timing was impeccable. We didn’t have to wait on any lines and he planned out our day amazingly. He even added a felucca ride to our tour and it truly was one of the best parts. He was very funny and personable and he was efficient. Our driver Karem was also extraordinary, he was so sweet and attentive and made sure we had the best time. I would recommend both of them for this tour any day! We had an amazing time.

    Incredible
It's incredible to finally see it in person after seeing pictures of it my whole life. It was more grand than I thought it would be for sure. The only bad thing was that the locals were so annoying, constantly asking if we needed pictures or camel rides. Our guide warned us to expect this and that we had to be firm and tell them no in a direct manner. I had to be down right rude to one of them who just would not stop. I said, "What part of no aren't you getting? I said No." This finally got the message across. It shouldn't have to be like that.

    The oldest and largest pyramid
We saw the three giant pyramids and went back to the past. Great Pyramid of Cheops is the oldest and largest of them. Originally it was 147m high, now it’s a bit shorter. It was built about 2,5 million tons of limestone blocks (one of them is about 2,5 tons). We were just amazed when we looked up at the top and we felt like little dwarfs. It’s fantastic, don’t miss it!

    Imposing and amazing structure.
This is the largest Pyramid, the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu, now open for tourists to enter. Being the oldest of seven wonders of the world, this pyramid was the tallest manmade structure, baffled researchers all over the world. My guide took me to the nearest point, then I walked to the entrance. There is separate ticket for entry, one has to be very careful as the descending passage was very steep. Many of the relics are now moved to the Museum at Cairo. This amazing and massive structure is a shining example of ancient civilization of Egypt. A must visit to understand the significance and heritage. Many stories and legends are associated with this Pyramid.

    Hot !
Was amazing to see the pyramids up close and personal. A massive tick off my bucket list … BUT The journey that is to enter the pyramid is HELL. They let too many people in at once. It’s too hot , too crowded & was the scariest thing I have done in years. The climb up a very narrow, very step passage with people going both ways is extremely scary & uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait to get out of that space. I am glad I did it. But wouldn’t recommend it. If you are even a tiny bit scared of tight spaces , do NOT enter the Pyramid. And it also is a really hard climb. You must have some level of fitness.

Buy the extra experience to climb inside
Touch the stone. Take photos. Climb. Fantastic photo opportunity. If able, purchase the extra ticket to climb inside. Not good if you’re claustrophobic. You’re bent at a 45 degree angle climbing up a wooden plank for a few hundred meters as others are coming downward to you bottoms first. You’re surrounded by thick block. You get a reprieve and can stand up after a bit but then another steep climb up another plank for another couple hundred meters. And you don’t want to hold up the line so you need to keep moving to reach the top, then stoop again for another six feet until you make it to the very top of the pyramid. Inside the top there are no windows nor fresh air …. But totally worth the experience if you are able bodied.

Indiana Jones like experience inside the pyramid!
If you wanna feel at least a bit like Indiana Jones, pay a ticket into the Great Pyramid. The pyramid itself is breathtaking, but going inside it is a pretty cool experience. There's no light, so you need a flashlight (there were some lights but they weren't on, so we wouldn't do without our phones) and the path up is very very narrow with very low ceilings. Expect to crouch or duck most of the time. Not for anyone claustrophobic, afraid of dark or too corpulent, as there is a real possibility of getting stuck halfway (there's only one narrow path up for the most of the way and you have to count there are people going both up and down). Also not for asthmatics with bad asthma, the air is very heavy and when you finally reach the room with the sarcophagus, it's almost nonbreathable, probably because of low oxygen levels. Also consider going in if you're in a very bad shape physically, most of the way you go up and it can be physically demanding. But, totally worth it. Who can say that they were in the greatest pyramid in the world, right?

Saw it everyday from my Guesthouse Room!
It is one of the biggest pyramids in Giza, visited it and the other pyramids on Day 1 of my visit. Lots of tourists here, starting at 8:30 in the morning. Got 2 big windows in my room at the Guesthouse located accross from it. Looked at it and admired it from these windows. What a view!

    The Great Pyramid is colossal
The Great Pyramid is colossal. It is much larger than I had envisioned it. After seeing photos all my life it was phenomenal to finally see it in person. It is mind boggling how these huge blocks of stone were so precisely fitted together to make this structure without the use of modern technology.

I decided to buy tickets to the Khufu pyramid and I was excited at first to actually see what's inside the pyramid. But boy was I unprepared for it!

If you're prone to heat stroke or have mobility issues, I would not recommend doing it. Getting inside I thought it was just a straight tunnel, but then it started to look like a cave, and then the way became a steep slope! You have to crouch while climbing up and also hit the people going down. You're also at the mercy of people with limited mobility scared of slipping going down, or catching their breath going up.

I'm surprised the boards are able to handle the crowds going up and down, and on top of that, it was a sauna! You'll be baked alive while inside, and at the end is a photo-op and you have to do the poses quickly. No time for weird awkward poses since the heat will harm you.

Understandably there is no ventilation because it was ancient after all. And finally getting outside the 32-degree heat was actually a welcome blessing compared to the inside of the pyramid's tunnels.

Of all Egypt's attractions, the Cheops Pyramid is probably the one you most want to experience. It's the world's most legendary pyramid.

I've dreamt of seeing the Cheops Pyramid my whole life, and when the colossal structure suddenly loomed before me, I was close to tears. It's even more fantastic in reality than in pictures.

In addition to the entrance ticket to the area, I highly recommend purchasing a ticket to visit the interior of the pyramid. It's a great experience, but it's also really hard work!

You walk hunched over a narrow and steep staircase - far, far, deep into the pyramid - while others on their way out pass you in the narrow passage. The air is hot and humid, and you'll be sweating.

In a way, the sarcophagus in the small room you struggle to reach is a disappointment. But hey, next to the sarcophagus, you can look forward to meeting a genuine stand-up comedian.

The guard will instruct you to make all sorts of funny gestures while he takes pictures of you with your smartphone. You can't help but laugh. If you're satisfied with the result, the guard hopes you'll give him a little tip - but you can also choose not to.

The way out of the pyramid is easier than the way in, and when you feel the fresh air outside, you'll forget how hard you've worked.

However, this experience is not recommended for individuals with claustrophobia or mobility issues.

OMG, just got back from our second visit to the Great Pyramid. Admittedly, the impact is less the second time around, but this is the most amazing thing you will ever see in your lifetime.
