If you are staying at the Guardian Guest House just watch the show from the rooftop if you do not want to purchase a ticket. However, I chose to purchase a ticket to support. Im guessing there used to be lots of support for the...More

The Great Pyramids of Giza which are one of the oldest and only surviving wonders of the Ancient World were, till now, just something that we had either read or studied about in history textbooks or watched documentaries about on television, so the first look...More

Tickets are reasonable. The show we saw was in English, but headphones were provided for other languages. Get there early, before sunset to get some pictures of the Sphinx and pyramids without hoards of people in them. We even got a history lesson and were...More

History lesson at night time with some coloured spot lights illuminating the pyramids. Not worth the admission price.

You get a great histoRy lesson, wrapped up in a sound and light show. It's about an hour long, so young children tend to get bored pretty fast. And dress well as it can get chilly at night.

The show is set to sound and music as well as a light show. The daily shows include various languages, and we enjoyed learning all the additional information in English.

Hi, is it safe and near enough to have a relaxing walk from Mena House to the venue of this Sound & Light Show? Can we just turn up an hour before the show and purchase tickets. What time is the English language show for Friday?

I would not walk. We got outside of the Mena gates and turned right back around and asked them to call us a cab. The cost is worth the security. The night we went, there were plenty of tickets still available the night of... More
