The views and history of the pyramids is just amazing. I would advise you go in solo without any tour companies. Entrance to the main area and inside the pyramids and Sphinx is half price of you're a student, just take the student card along with you, otherwise it's very cheap anyway. The inside of the pyramids is definitely worth... More

It is a dream destination. Went there at night first to see the sound and light. Then gone in the morning again. The steps are very steep but its a worth experience.

Totally breathtaking. We have a great time exploring. Also, ensure you go to the look out point to have fun making unique perspective photos (like holding a pyramid in you hand).

Once past haggling to get in via horse and cart as not on official tour it was an amazing experience. The pyramids are a huge wonder to behold, yes they try and extract as much cash as possible for photo and camal rides etc. But it's worth it so glad I have seen these marvels of history. Probably worth going... More

Visited the pyramids with a guide during the day and went inside the Great Pyramid of Cheops which was fun to see the structure internally. Steep stairwells and narrow spaces makes it quite tough to get up to the tomb, so must not be claustrophobic! Went back to the pyramids in the evening for the sound and light show which... More

It is amazing, and at the... More

A visit to the pyramids is a must so whilst on holiday to Hurgadha, Egypy an excursion was booked to see the pyramids. Unless you are staying in Cairo or taking a Nile cruise to Cairo you main option to get there is a road trip or a flight. We chose the road trip and whilst it was a good... More

It's difficult to put into words the sheer majesty and palpable energy of the Pyramids. These massive structures set among the sands of the desert are breath-taking. We were lucky with our timing in that since the revolution, there has been far less tourists than usual. There were maybe 50 other people visiting when we did. The only issue my... More

A wonder of the world. The Pyramids have stood for 4,000 years. You will be amazed by all aspects of the Great Pyramids. It unfortunately has many vendors that bother you constantly to buy trinkets and tissue. But overall, this is CANNOT miss for any traveler of the world. It is simply amazing.
