After a lovely relaxing boat ride we arrived at Banana Island, (not really possible if mobility issues,) and were taken on a tour of the many varieties of different fruits and herbs that are grown there. We were taught how the fruits grow and how...More

I was expecting more, but the best part is the felluca ride to get there, so don't expect much when you get there. Some floura and fauna and birds chirping, if that is your thing ... go for it.

Boat trips are fun, but even better if there's an actual place to visit. Banana Island is THAT visit. It's a short trip into the banana tree farm to see how that popular fruit grows from a funky flower. If you already know, I guess...More

This was a great place to visit and can be accessed either via the villages or by boat. It has lots of Egyptian character and serves traditional food. People very friendly Not sure about the wolves/crocs and other animals in cages....

Our falluca guide took us here. It wasn't anything great but you could see where the locals come on a day trip or kids go on a class trip. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. We had delicious bananas, and saw the...More

This place is great, I don't understand the other reviews. It's a kitschy little almost hippy commune looking plantation. Very peaceful and chilled and cheap if you are a westerner due to currency fluctuations. A good guide will take you on Felucca, a quick visit...More
