I was disappointed, it only has 5 or 6 giraffes and 1 poor dying ostrich, and she's actually dying, was looking forward to see zebras but there were no zebras

We got married at Nguuni Sanctuary in February 2011. We had all the animals around us during our ceremony and even managed to arrange to have the Masai tribe with us for the whole wedding. Everyone involved were all lovely, highly recommend!

As of January 2016 the entrance price (non residents) was only 300 shillings, i got to walk very close to a group of 16 giraffes. It was great. Lots of nature paths, we also saw some antilopes but they get scared quickly and there's not so many of those. It's great for the budget travelers, if inly to hang with... More

This is a hidden gem right in Mombasa for all lovers of nature! Nice walking path, you get very close to nature and to the animals, mostly girrafe and some ostrich and antelope. Bring good walking shoes and lots of water... And also food, they have a nice picnic area where you can also BBQ. The staff is very friendly... More

probaly because it is not so wellknown yet. It is a very nice place to go for birdwalks. Be sure to take a guide with you, he'll see much more because he knows the place. Ask around for Mr. Ngala.

Nguuni is a little nature park surrounded on all sides by urban development. This makes it unique as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily modern life in Mombasa to get back to nature.. The park has a number of wild herbivores including giraffes, water buck, & onyx. It is also a great place for birders and a... More

The tortoises, lovely old creatures....'mzee kobe' in swahili. A perfect family outing on Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed taking a walk and having a good time with the good old tortoises browsing on the lush green vegetation at Nguuni, on your way to Kiembeni Estate, Bamburi.
