Great nature walk

a very good experience with the animals: giraffes, monkeys, hippos, crocs, Mr. Tortoise....... 2 nd time visit since many many years ago. same thrill. A day well spent.

Who ever thought that a waste land could be converted into a paradise which would harbor wildlife in all forms and aspects? no one, but this is what was made of The Haller Park in Mombasa. with the different ecosystems which support completely different beings, Haller park has definitely redefined conservation and is totally one of the places that are... We visited this park after a morning in Mombasa. The park was once a stone quarry situated on the perimeter of Mombasa. Rene Haller was given the task of making the area presentable.We arrived just in time to feed the giraffes, I was apprehensive to begin with but it was an experience not to be forgotten. Interesting visit for the price. Not many animals but many girafs at the entrence. They provide a nice guide who provides us with lots of information.It' might be interesting to know that they only feed the animals starding at 3 pm. Nice place to enjoy nature & animals.

Perfect example of how to revive mother nature after quarry activity. Excellent to have a walk in the park and enjoy nature and animals.

Lovely park, especially the butterfly pavilion. Good when cycling and having walks. There are many millipedes though

Very run down place. We missed the feeding, so the only animals we saw were some crocodiles and a couple of sick looking tortoises. The guide was not at all knowledgable. We asked what the nest was in a tree and she told us it was an Ostrich's nest!! The snake's were very hard to spot as the inside of... More

The tour guide was helpful....and the wildlife diversity, simply breathtaking! We did not get to see the hippos though...they were hiding am told!
