Chaoyang Park is cheap to enter only RMB5 and is good for a whole day's fun for all the family. As well as the natural scenic beauty of the greenery and the lake that provide a long walk there are the boating on the lake, the funfair in summer, cycles to hire, the Lego Museum and the water park swimming... Great place for an evening walk, home to all kinds of fun activities. The park includes an amusement park, a water park and many other fun activities. It is mostly crowded on weekends. It is also home to a famous carnival during the Chinese New Year.

Nothing 'special' in any kind of scenic or historic / cultural way - has some rides for children. Food area - only tried the noodles. Okay for a bit of a walk...

One of the best parks in Beijing. It has a beautiful lake, benches and hilly lawns to sit on and watch the view. The park is very big and includes boat rentals, a zoo, children's amusement park, a lego store and Sony explora science museum. The entry fee to the park itself is 5 RMB.

There is a 5 yuan admission fee just to get in. This park is rather plain in terms of foliage, flowers, and monuments, but it is worth a short visit even if you... More

Chaoyang Park, being so large, has several entrances, but visitor will like find its West and North gates to be most convenient and easily accessible by train, bus, taxi, or car. Entrance fee, as with most public parks, is 5 RMB or so; kids under 1.2 meters tall do not need to pay for a ticket. Chaoyang park is mostly... More

This park is an ideal place to spend some time to get some fresh air and entertainment. If you have time and closeby visit otherwise give it a miss.
