It’s a good place to have something for eating and buy something. And also good place to take photos.

Amazing market street.
Apr 2019
This is a must visit street. We stayed at the close-by Emperor Hotel It was easy for us to stroll in the evenings when the street lights are on and hundreds of pe is full of eatingeople are on the street. The place is full of restaurants, gifts, candy and souvenir shops.

A place to walk before dinner
Dec 2019 • Family
An old Beijing style area. Lots of dining places, souvenir shops, silk shops. Its beautiful when the lights turned on at the evening. If you don't want to eat at here, 5 minutes walk to Beijing Fun and there are hundreds of food stores / restaurants there.

Nice for a stroll but don't buy anything

Very pleasant walk. Beautiful. However avoid eating there. None of the restaurant needs return customers so you can imagine the quality.

Tasty traditional street food
Jan 2020 • Family
Definitely worth a visit. It’s a traditional Hutong style looking street full of traditional sweets stores, street food, noodle restaurants and novelty shops. Great to visit at night for the lighting displays.

Immerse yourself in the lovely sights and surroundings
Dec 2019
This is a place where you can immerse yourself in the lovely sights and surroundings of the local culture. As we visited in December, it was cold but the lights and atmosphere were so worth it. There are stalls selling local cuisines, shops and also a mini street market inside one of the areas where you can find snack as well. Strolling from one end to the other simply eating, window shopping and just spending time with your loved one is something that can't be missed.

Enjoyed our stroll in this area
Nov 2019
After visiting the Palace Museum, we walked to this area and glad we did. We found the street to be charming with interesting shopping and side streets to browse and eat. We found this area had much more to offer than Wangfujing in terms of enjoyable window shopping with more local character. Had a much more easy-going feel to the area. Could easily spend 2-3 hours on this street and the adjoin side streets.

U need to see this street
Nov 2019 • Solo
Was overwhelmed once I entered this walking street , it has that old world charm still intact with art deco buildings which gives this place a special feel . they run a toy tram on weekends too , it has local plus international brands here and yeah there s madame Tussaud's too. You need spare some time to check out this street.when I went it was -3 so was quite chilly and windy too

前門大街 a quiet street mall
Dec 2019 • Family
Due to winter season, there are many malls which were closed when we arrived there by 830 pm.

We still managed to get some local food to eat and shop at some small shops at one of the alleys.

This street cannot be compared with WangFuJing street mall. I think still can go there during day time but NOT evening esp. at winter season.

Feels different with every visit
Dec 2019 • Friends
Its an interesting street and with the addition of the food street, Qianmen now has more food options for you to try different Beijing street food. The Dashanlan street is always fun to pick up some souvenirs but do remember to bargain.
