Song Qingling was the wife of Sun Yat Sen, she loved China & her former home, on the northern side of Hou Hai lake, houses memorabilia. The gardens surrounding the house a lovely.

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon here. Very relaxing and interesting former home still furnished is it was originally. The outside of the grounds is a very large lake surrounded by shops and cafes.

In the Houhai lake area. The East side of the residence is under renovation from Mar 21 to May 21, and you must enter on the western gate. Only access to the museum and the former residence is available. No access to garden. The museum...More

This mansion is situated in the hutong district, by the lake and combines historic buildings, rooms and furniture, as well as a charming garden and a small but very interesting memorial museum. A must if you are interested in the Revolution.
