In a sea of grey high rise city scape, this was at least a welcome distraction. Although in any other setting it would attract poor reviews, i suspect. It is a man-made traditional Chinese tourist attraction, which is a little tacky. But worth seeing if...More

This is a market area for tourists but it's a really interesting place to visit. They've got several levels of shops including food places and shops selling goods. There's a waterfall and the architecture is made to look like historical buildings. It gives a beautiful...More

This place has big big Wow factor. Stunningly lit up at night, coupled by the views of the bridges across the JiaLing and Yangtze rivers. A must see , if one visits Chongqing .

the stores are built on the hills, but not in order. Fun places to walk around and take different pictures. Many street foods available. However, be prepared to walk stairs since just too many people are waiting elevators.

This place although quite interesting in the set up, is full of shops which only attracts curious tourists but nothing much of a character. We ended using it as hop to the river cruise which was highly recommended

This is a very popular, very kitschy spot. It is about 10 floors of restaurants, cafes, snack stalls, arts and craft, tumbling down a cliffside facing the Jialing River. It is brightly lit at night, and attracts crowds of photo-takers. I was quite uneasy inside...More

The Hongya Cave is my favorite spot in Chongqing! It is so unique that I couldn’t get enough of it! The building itself is a piece of art! It is a replica of an old Chongqing high-stand house. The building has 11 levels in total....More

Start at the top and walk down. Lots of shops for selling local food stuff and souvenirs. Did not appeal to me. Waterfall was a not spectacular. Hotpot restaurant, Long Yue on the 2nd floor next door at the top was more interesting.
