This is huge theatre for hug population in China. Wish to have a change to watch a play or movies in interesting layout. It is kind of Giant Cinema.

An impressive building and the landmark of Chongqing in many respects. Excellent for external photos but not much inside.
With a stunning outside this place is a must see in Chongqing. Cheap entry ticket inside was a little disappointing to see the massive theatre inside; thr architecture outside is not repeated within.
Both the interior and the exterior are a sight to behold and knowing this was built shortly after the Communist takeover of China, when China was in relative disarray, the accomplishment of building something so magnificent is all the more remarkable.
