Go if you are a history buff or like me read Stilwell's biography. Everything has been clean and re-furbished. However, there is no mention if all the furniture is original or not. The historical photo's are fantastic though and so are the photos of visiting...More

I didn't know that Japan had driven so far into China during WWII. The map in the museum (attached) clearly shows this!

A museum dedicated to the American general who led the American forces who aided the chinese during their pre-WWII war with Japan. Extremely interesting. I learned a lot.

Interesting small museum highlighting the US presence in China during WWII. House itself is worth the visit and the location right next to the river is good for photos.

See the rooms that wewre occupied during WW ll. Desk Stillwell used with command radio. Adjuncts room and work area. Many pictures are posted on the walls up and downstairs. Jeep and cstaff car still in garage area.

Stillwell's residence and headquarters is now a museum overlooking the Yangtze River with good views of the downtown area. They have some artifacts from the period as well as many historical photographs. Those interested in history would appreciate it.
