Since 1904, trams have been running from East to West of Hong Kong Island. Over the last century, Hong Kong Tramways witnessed the development of Hong Kong, and the tram remains an efficient and the most economical mode of public transport in Hong Kong. Today, Hong Kong Tramways owns and operates a fleet of 163 tramcars, including 2 antique tramcars, carrying a daily average of 230,000 passengers. It is the world's largest fleet of double-deck tramcars still in service.

Mostar Springer and summer Hong Kong is very hot and full of moistury. But you should use this tramways. Yes it is slow Like city bus tour. But cheap and driving in a good robot. Try it.

Seeing the street cars on the city streets is awesome and shows the uniqueness of Hong Kong's past. The tram system is a great compliment to MTR subway system, but just riding on the tram is so much fun.

Definitely get on one of these during your time on Hong Kong island. It is important to remember that you pay on the way OFF the ding ding. It is very tall and fun as part of a trip through Hong Kong Island

If you want to enjoy it as a tourist you should ride at the start of the route e.g Kennedy town and get off at about north point
