I went here with my school on a residential trip and I was really impressed by the tranquility and beauty of somewhere that is less than half an hour's drive from the most densely populated district of the world's most densely populated city. Trekking to the top of any of the low peaks gives a wonderful view over the small... More

Walking in Sai Kung East is lovely and delicious. The scenery is beautiful and the hike is not that complicated. Make sure to bring water. You manage at the end to take a well deserved bath on Ham Tin beach. It is beautiful and very relaxing. Enjoy the ride back by boat to Sai Kung

I go to Sai kung country park often and the trails have never failed to surprise me. Excellent views and it caters to all levels of hikers from beginners to experts. I have to start off by saying that this was the last tour of a 6 week South East Asia adventure for me and I wasn't expecting much. some scenery and a hike. What I got was epically the best tour and adventure I could have had! Gabi, the best tour guide out there, really is amazing! The day we... More

I visited this area as part of a guided hike with company Walk Hong Kong. To get the negatives out of the way first, there was a bit of litter to be seen on certain areas of the trails unfortunately, I think due to the large groups that come here during the warmer months as part of school or club... This very popular weekend walking destination provides a variety of walks over mountains and along beaches. Most walks require at least a moderate level of fitness.

We took a mini bus to here then started walk. Hardly anyone here! Very pretty though. There are few sand banks around. Water are very clear. Most of time we hiked by ourselves. Few cafes in the village on the way. So so food. Not recommended:p We jumped into the water and had great time!
