We wanted to learn more about tea and have a unique experience while in HK and the tea tasting workshop did not disappoint! Very experienced tea master who provided us with a lot of information in a comfortable setting. We learned to make tea and had some great tastings. The location can be hard to find as it's in a... I wanted to taste different teas from China. Mingcha was recommended. Finding it is a little daunting because the address is in a warehousing area. March on. You must enter through the warehouse loading area to an elevator. Take the elevator to the floor listed and ring the bell for MingCha. I asked to sample teas and they were very... More

Had a wonderful time with Tomoko. Her knowledge of tea was inspiring. I personally drink a lot of and source green tea from a variety of places, however the oolong Phoenix osmanthus is hands down the best tea I have ever tasted. If your a beginner to the world of tea this class would be amazing, but Tomoko adapts herself... More

We visited here on the last day of our trip. It's a little tricky to find it and we ended up in a warehouse building next door. Don't be deceived by its location. The staff were really accommodating and informative. We tried two teas and bought a small tube of the lovely jasmine flower tea. The total was £30. It's... More

Rang earlier in the day to check that it is open... A lovely lady picked up the phone and gave me detailed instructions on how to get there. When we arrived we were warmly invited for tea tasting. We tried a variety of tea and they were just gorgeous! Thank you!

I brought my in laws and my favourite aunty and uncle to MingCha the day before my wedding. We tried different tea and we even paired the tea up with chocolate. Vivian told us how the tea leave was made. I was glad that I brought my family to the best tea house in Hong Kong and we had a... More

We visited Ming Cha Tea House with another couple. Be sure to get detail directions before you leave as an address alone will not get you there. It is in a type of warehouse area, but do not be concerned as you are going to a hidden gem in Hong Kong. Once there you will be treated to a small... More

An amazing insight into tea, tea blends and the correct making of a cup of tea. Our parents, grand parents and great grand parents have been doing it wrong forever lol. Follow directions on their website to the letter to find the tea house.

This was a delightful tasting! We were entertained and educated on the nuances of various types of tea. These ladies are the Master Sommeliers of Tea! I had no idea there was so much to learn and the learning process could be so much fun. MingCha is a hidden treasure and should be on the "A List" of things to do... More
