Our instructor was Tomoko, she was an excellent and informative guide to Chinese tea. She took us through a variety of teas, how they are made, where they are from, how to brew and drink, along with the rituals, equipment used and intricacies of Chinese tea drinking. I went with my girlfriend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the tea tasted... More

My wife and I did the tea tasting workshop with Tomoko san. It was an amazing experience. Getting to the tea house is easy both by MTR or Taxi. Don't be fooled by the outsides of the building, the tea house is setup beautifully and the workshop is fun, whimsical yet delicious and super informative. Tomoko san has a lot... More

We have visited MingCha Tea house to buy tea for our friends and family as the souvenirs from Hong Kong. Staff was very helpful and we were able to taste some teas before buying those. At the same time there was a tea tasting for the group that booked it before and the process looked very appealing. Unfortunately, we did... More

We took the tea workshop with Tomoko who was amazing. She taught us about the five main categories of tea, how to make tea in the traditional manner and everything you'd want to know about the growth process, brewing process, oxidization, health benefits, taste qualities, and Chinese tea customs. I drink tea regularly and I still learned quite a bit.... More

We had both Tomoko and the owner Vivian as our tea masters. The entire experience was interesting, informative and highly entertaining. No question went unanswered. The whole experience was an absolute delight. We would highly recommend this tour as a tourist or a HK local.

We actually had trouble finding this place. You will need to go through a factory area off of the main road. You will take the elevator up and then ring the door bell. They did a nice job of exposing us to various types of tea and giving us a tasting (you will pay). If you've never learned about Chinese... More

Their products are of high quality. I bought one bottle of rose tea and I am enjoying it every day. It doesn't even look good, but also tastes amazingly good. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am planning to join their tea workshops next time. This place is definitely worth revisiting!

This was way beyond our expectations. We stumbled upon here to buy some tea (it's quite hard to find a place like this - that sells true Chinese tea in Hong Kong), we found a it here - on tripadvisor. We didn't have any expectations, came here just to buy some tea for souvenirs. But ended up taking the tea... More

I did tea tasting of jasmine blossom and tieguanyin classic here, and the tea was delicious and the staff (Ophelia, who was trainee) was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about different types of tea, how they are grown, etc. The teas tasted so great I ended up buying both teas I tasted. The environment is very friendly and fun... More

It's hard to add any more superlatives to those in all the previous reviews, but it's all true! If you are looking to do something a bit different this workshop is interesting, informative and fun.
