What a lovely morning! I wanted to go to the workshop but did not pre-book and it was not on. But they still did tea tastings of 3 tea with me ($100HK per tea). Veronica was brilliant at explaining the tea with there origin and how they should be prepared and poured. She even taught me how to pour tea!!... More

We spent a wonderful afternoon tasting different kinds of teas and learn how the flavours are created. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of tea-tasting.

We spent a morning at MingCha early this year. The room was beautifully arranged with teapots and elegantly packaged teas displayed around the walls. Down the centre was a line of place settings with equipment for tasting. We tasted several different teas and learned about how they were produced and prepared. We also bought several teas as gifts for family,... More

My 11 year old daughter arrived and had called ahead. THere wasn't a tea workshop that day but they said to come for a tea tasting. We arrived in the pouring rain and it was like family. Our trainer was Cherry and she was absolutely so delightful. She knew so much about tea and she truly was just amazing. We... More

I can't speak highly enough of Tomiko's hospitality and knowledge. My husband and I arrived rather early for our workshop but were warmly welcomed and set up early. We tasted many different types of teas, learnt about the traditional way of brewing and drinking tea and about the origins and making of tea. We learnt so much and I found... More

I signed up for the tea tasting session whilst in Hong Kong as I was interested to learn about chinese tea. The Tai Koo office is conveniently accessible via MTR and is located in a commercial building right across. My tea master was Tomoko who was very warm ,engaging and knowledgeable. I was able to try a couple of their... More

For a great time and experience the MingCha Tea House is the place for it. We enjoyed a range of refreshing teas and a demonstration by the host which made it worthwhile. This was new and exciting and I highly recommend all visitors to Hong Kong try it.
