This market is off the beaten path from downtown Hong Kong Island, but worth the trip on the bus or an Uber. While visiting Hong Kong for the first time, my local friend recommended that I check this place out. I had already seen several...More

I've been to Hong Kong quite a few times and always make the trip to Stanley Market. The last time I was there (2014), I thought that Stanley had better prices than Shenzhen (which I thought had gotten very expensive). But this trip, it seemed...More

We went here on the Big Bus tour and got dropped off in the car park. Couldn't see any markets - just some shops. Kept going down the stairs and escalators down to the ocean. We walked past about 20 cafes/hotels etc and found the...More

Even though is a small one it is worth going to have lunch in the restaurants looking over the beach and walk throughout the market to snoop around. It will take you 15-20 minutes

We really liked Stanley! It had some great artwork at the market to take home as souvenirs. The beaches close by are also great. Some nice cafes too.

A more relaxed pace than ladies market in Kowloon and probably the quality of goods are better. Shops take many currencies and even credit cards. Many shops sell the same items so shop around.

I also don't know. At least it didn't catch my attention. It could be not since I can't remember any store with office supply. Sorry

Some do but I would bring HK cash also. Stanley Market was way over hyped. The Women's Market is much better.

it's a market with different small shops, normally close around sunset. so I would stay don't arrive there later than 4pm. not much there after dark, apart from bars, shopping in the mall and restaurants.
